Join Te Araroa Trail Regional Trusts and help shape Aotearoa New Zealand’s Iconic trail.

Are you passionate about the natural places of Aotearoa? Do you want to make a tangible difference in your community?

Te Araroa welcomes walkers, nature enthusiasts, and community-minded individuals to volunteer with our Regional Trusts.

Volunteer opportunities:

    • Trail maintenance: Help with clearing paths, repairing structures, and ensuring safety for all trail users.
    • Event coordination: Assist in organising community events, fundraisers, and awareness campaigns.
    • Communication and outreach: Promoting the trail through social media, newsletters, and local outreach efforts.
    • Environmental conservation: Forming partnerships and participating in ecological projects, such as native planting and pest control.
