Te Araroa – The Trail App is the trusted and official navigation tool for walking Te Araroa.

Using the free app you will be able to view official trail notes and maps, and information on trail elevation, campsites and huts, from your mobile phone. It also includes offline topographical maps which you can access without cell phone coverage. Trail status and warnings are updated regularly so you’ll have the latest trail information at your fingertips while you’re walking Te Araroa.

The Trail app is NOT a safety tool and you must still carry the necessary safety equipment including a personal locator beacon (PLB), and ensure that you are properly prepared for your walk.
