Overview:
This Trail Bite starts at Bulls Bridge and heads south, following quiet country roads, with views of the Rangitikei River, and Tararua and Ruahine Ranges. Wind turbines can also be seen north and south of the Manawatū Gorge. The Trail Bite ends at Mt Lees Reserve where there is a playground, a story walk, information panels, 2.3km loop bush trail, and a colourful display of daffodils in spring. Note: No dogs at Mt Lees Reserve

Grade: Easy (Flat road walking)
- The 2.5km bushwalk around the reserve is a good side trip with some impressive specimen trees.
