The crowd closes in on the stone

The band strikes up in the rotunda

Bob Harvey invites the crowd back to the marquees for free food and drink. He notes the new book A Walking Guide to Te Araroa is on sale in the marquees.

And notes also the Governor General will be doing part of the walk back to the Wellington City Centre, leaving in 20 minutes.

The book sells out at the marquee. The free sausages are gone. The tea is drunk. Chapple and the Governor General lead the walkers out of the park on Te Araroa.

They pass on upwards into the hills. Te Araroa is open
