Matapouri alert
Te Araroa Trust has temporarily closed its Matapouri Bush Track. The northern section of Matariki's pine plantation is being logged and is a no-go zone. During the closure, the trust will realign the southern trailhead from the Tutukaka-Ngunguru highway to the quieter Waiotoi Road, behind Ngunguru.
